About the Association
The Global Freelance Association was established in June 2024 as a general incorporated association whose members are sole proprietors (freelancers) in Japan.
This association works to promote and develop the social insurance system for self-employed individuals and to promote the welfare of insured persons and their families.
Opportunity for Establishment
Our mission is to educate and support the global freelance community.
The CEO had a hard time because he had no knowledge of health insurance, pensions, taxes, etc. due to his experience as a freelancer for the past 10 years.
After going through these hardships, we decided to provide assistance to freelancers both domestic and internationally working in Japan.
